At Bunnies Daycare we have a long standing staff team who are dedicated to providing high quality care for the children we look after. 

Are minimum staffing ratios are 1:3 for 0-2 years, 1:4 for 2-3 years and 1:8 for children over 3 years. However these are the minimum staff to child ratios and we try to keep staffing levels higher wherever possible. All staff employed at out nursery will have been  DBS checked to ensure there suitability to work with children. 


David Thompson: Proprietor 

David is the director of Bunnies Daycare LTD. David oversees all legal and regulatory matters and managers the finance for the company. 

Tania Thompson: Nursery Manager

Tania opened bunnies Daycare in September 2005 alongside the proprietor. Tania manages all aspects of the nursery, Tania is also is the Designated Safeguarding Officer for the whole setting.

Lisa Bullock: Deputy Manager: Level 3

Lisa is the Baby Area Leader, Lisa Supports the Manager with the nursery as well as delivering and maintaining high quality learning and care, and staff support.

Shannon Bugg: Senior Nursery Practitioner: Level 3

Shannon joined Bunnies in June 2018, Shannon holds a level 3 qualification while working with our toddlers and preschool aged children. Shannon is also the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Lauren Urbanowicz: Nursery Practitioner Level 3

Lauren holds a level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, Lauren is the settings Senco and works with the preschool children.

Holly Burton: Nursery Practitioner

Holly is working towards her level 3 and works alongside all the staff within the setting.

Megan Neeve: Nursery Practitioner Level 2

Megan works in the main room, promoting a rich learning environment for the toddlers and preschool children.

Sophie Wilson: Student Nursery Practitioner

Sophie works part-time within the setting and regularly volunteers her time within the setting as she loves being around the children.

Christiane Lamb:

Christiane prepares nutritious and balanced meals appropriate for all dietary needs, cultures in accordance with nutritional guidance for under-fives.


At Bunnies we like to provide good training opportunities for school and college students. Anyone who attends Bunnies Daycare for work experience will be fully supervises and introduced to parents/carers when they attend.
