Our Setting at Bunnies!
At Bunnies Daycare, we have two welcoming and carefully designed spaces: our Baby Room and our Toddler & Preschool Room. Each room is tailored to the ages, stages and individual needs of the children, giving them a safe and nurturing environment where they can learn, play and grow at their own pace. Both rooms are filled with a wide variety of age-appropriate toys, books, sensory experiences, creative activities and learning opportunities that encourage curiosity and support children's development. From helping our youngest children explore through their senses and build their first skills, to supporting our toddlers and preschoolers with communication, independence, friendships and preparation for school, our activities are specially planned each month to make learning exciting and enjoyable.
Our Toddler & Preschool Room
Our Preschool Room is a fun, engaging and stimulating environment designed to support children as they take those important steps towards starting primary school. The room offers a wide variety of toys, books, puzzles, construction resources, role-play areas, creative materials and educational activities that encourage children to explore, problem-solve and learn through play. Our activities help develop key skills including communication, early literacy and maths, independence, confidence, turn-taking and building friendships. With plenty of opportunities to make choices and try new things, we aim to ensure every child feels happy, confident and excited for their next adventure after Bunnies!
Our Baby Room
Our Baby Room provides a warm, safe and nurturing environment where our youngest children can explore, play and develop at their own individual pace. We offer a wide range of age-appropriate toys and activities, including sensory play, musical toys, books, puzzles, soft play and opportunities for physical exploration, all designed to support those important first years of development. Our activities encourage movement and coordination, communication, recognition, curiosity and growing independence, while our caring practitioners support each child's individual routines and milestones. As children grow in confidence and ability, we gradually introduce new experiences and skills to help make their eventual transition into our main Toddler & Preschool Room a happy and familiar one.
Our Outside Area
Our outdoor area provides children with plenty of opportunities to explore, investigate and learn through play in the fresh air. With our mud kitchen, water and sensory play table, outdoor playhouse, role-play shop, activity boards, child-sized tables and chairs, and a variety of outdoor resources, there is always something exciting to discover. These activities support children's physical development, imagination, creativity, communication and social skills, while encouraging independence, problem-solving and working together with their friends. Our outdoor space allows children to enjoy hands-on learning experiences while having lots of fun!
